It was the Best of Times, It was the Worst of Times.

Well Pardners, another Cowboy year has come to a close. It has been an eventful year.

The Good:
We had some great shoots with stages by 2 Step, Wicklow Wrangler, Durango Dude, Hank Dogberry, Ransey Stimson and yours truly. Did I forget anyone? If so, please forgive me, I do have my Senior moments.

We’ve shot in the cold of January as well as the heat of July, but we’ve always manage to warm up or cool down with our Clink ‘n Drink sessions at RH&B. Sometime I think some of our Cowboys show up just for that reason. What do think C.C.?

It’s been really nice to see some new faces this year. Seems our legend is growing. “Heard you guys just have too much fun” or “you guys don’t seem to care as much about score as some the other shoots I’ve been to”, just a couple of the many positive comments I’ve heard.

Some of the Wranglers managed to get some acting experience in the One Eyed Horse Production even if we were just extras. Of course there were a couple who managed to get close ups and even speaking parts in the movie. But, I won’t mention their names, hey R.B. And 2S.

The Bad:
We lost a great Pardner this year. Too Danged Frank is sorely missed by all and will not be forgotten. We all remember his wit, his many shenanigans and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.

We’ve had a couple of our Lady Shooters go through some health issues this year and we continue to keep them in our prayers.

Durango Dude keeps trying to change his name to Disabled Dude. I think he’s trying to help pay for the new building AAMC is putting up with his frequent visits. Stay out of that place Dude, it’s bad for your health.

We look forward to 2009 with the hope that it will bring good health and happiness to all. As for the Millcreek Wranglers, we will continue with our year round cowboy shoots and our basic policy of Safety and Fun.

All Y'all know that next month will be ANOTHER FULLL DAY OF SHOOTING!!  That  is, if ennybody has enny energy left after the Mason Dixon Stampede match in a coupla weeks.... Hope ta see yalll there!!
